More Time in Acadia National Park

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood and so off to Avadia NP. We again drove into the park, this time headed to Cadillac Mountain. At 1530 feet it is the highest point on the North Atlantic Seaboard.  It is the first place, in the USA, to view the sunrise from March 7th to October 6th. No, we didn't get up early enough to see the sunrise.  Gracie, our gps, led the way up the mountain road.

The views at the top are incredible. Took another selfie, this time with Savannah.

Savannah is living this pet friendly National Park, where she can come along on all our adventures here.

We drove back down and headed back to Sand Beach for a picnic.

We took our sand charis and a lunch and sat down on the rocks to eat and enjoy the sounds and sights of the ocean.

We then drove on down the road and stopped at a nice little beach area where Savannah could put her paws into the Atlantic Ocean.

Onk the other side of the road is more water and lovely views.

Another great day.Stay tuned for more.
