We say good bye to Canada and back to the States. Border check not too bad. They came in and looked at our refrigerator after we mentioned we had some fruit and vegetables bought in Canada. Just a few pieces of fruit and a couple vegetables as we had tried to use as much as possible before crossing. We had a short hour drive to St Mary on the east side of Glacier National Park . We stayed at St Mary's Glacier KOA Not really our cup of tea and way overpriced, but they have WI FI and full hook ups and we like that once in awhile after going without. Since it was still early afternoon, we decided to take a drive on the Going-To-the-Sun Road, which is suppose to be spectacular. It winds through 50 miles of wild interior with glaciers, waterfalls and just beautiful scenery. Vehicles are limited to under 21 feet and have driving on it, we would agree. We have been on just as windy roads with tight turns on the Coast but there is major construction being done and no way could any big motorhomes make it through it. They have shuttles if you prefer someone else do the driving.

We stopped to check out Lake McDonald and ended up at the West Glacier at Apgar. We continued on the main highway that heads back to our campground. It was a long drive, especially with all the stops due to construction However, was a pretty drive. We thought about moving over to the West side for a few days but as we need to be in Gillette on the 28th , decided to continue east We are thinking of spending some time in Yellowstone before Gillette and so will head that way with a stop or two in between in Montana. Glacier will be on our list to spend more time at in the future
